DESIGN AND ANALYSIS OF SUSPENSION SYSTEM FOR AN ALL TERRAIN VEHICLE Shijil P, Albin Vargheese, Aswin Devasia, Christin Joseph, Josin Jacob Abstract— In this paper our work was to study the static and dynamic parameter of the suspension system of an ATV by determining and analyzing the dynamics of the vehicle when driving on an off road racetrack.
Suspension system is responsible for the handling, road holding and ride quality of the vehicle. It is important for the suspension system to keep the road and wheels in contact. In automobile suspension a suspension link or control link is a suspension member, that connects at two points, one point on the frame and other attached to the upright.
ABSTRACT In this paper, the performance of a nonlinear, 4 degrees-of-freedom, servohydraulic half-car active vehicle suspension system is compared with that of a passive vehicle suspension system with similar model parameters.In-School Suspension: Research Findings In school suspension arose because many were frustrated with the discipline design of OSS. Often it was felt that a more rehabilitative model of discipline, which offered positive supports for students who cause problems, could be more effective then the exclusionary model of OSS.Suspension trauma (also known as “harness-induced pathology” or “orthostatic shock while suspended”) is the development of presyncopal symptoms and loss of consciousness if the human body is held motionless in a vertical position for a period of time. It has been described in experiments of personal fall protection, and has been implicated in causes of death in mountaineering accidents.
Similarly, there has been an increase in research published about the effectiveness of suspension training systems, and in most cases the research provides good evidence to support its use. Here, we evaluate the findings in relation to suspension training’s effect on muscle EMG, the cardiovascular system and low back pain.Read More

This paper presents findings of a study that evaluated the effectiveness of an in-school suspension program (ISSP) at a suburban Atlanta high school. Data were derived from a questionnaire that explored staff's and students' perceptions of the effectiveness of the ISSP. Responses were received from 70 staff members and 190 students. Fifty percent of the students reported that they preferred.Read More
